*Max the father of our first bird yesterday to win 1st Club, 2nd Fed, 14th Combine and 65th NPO against 9,912 birds …he is a direct son of Leo Heremans super pair ‘Nieuwe Rossi’ x ‘Eenoog’

Saturday 11th July saw three races competed in. We were very pleased with all three races.

The first race was an NPO overnight race from Cahors a distance of almost 900 km to Nieuwendijk. The birds were liberated at 2.00 pm on Friday. We sent 4 entries winning 3 prizes with the first bird timed just before 11.am on Saturday morning to win 31st NPO against 2,631 birds with NL14-3400397 bred by our good friend John Aarts of Baarle Nassau. The bloodline is bred around two local world class fanciers Cees van der Beijsterveldt and Cor de Heijde.

 

The second race of the day was the first young bird race of the season from Asse Zellik a distance of around 109 km to Nieuwendijk.

First bird was NL15-3522595 bred from our fantastic breeding couple TOP STAR and STERRE  so the same way bred as our great racer ‘Mike’ NL11-1867164 winner of 1st Ace Pigeon Union de Baronie Middle Distance 2013 winning 11 prizes in 12 races. The father is ‘Top Star’ a great breeding son of ‘Young King (Young Couple) x ‘Chanel. The mother is ‘Sterre’ a daughter of ‘Jonge Super Champ’ (Son of Super Champ Orlando Verbree x Dtr.Godfather). This cock ‘Jonge Super Champ’ was a real good one and breeder of 1st Combine Houdeng 10,315 birds and 1st Combine Houdeng 12,491 birds. Top Star and Sterre also bred our best young bird last year NL14-3432682 the super blue hen that won 1st club, 1st Fed 754 birds ,11th Combine 2303 birds 35th NPO against 10,336 birds from Roye, 1st club ,3rd Fed 1065 birds, 10th Combine 3116 birds and 94th Nat.NPO against 14,258 birds from Sens and 2nd Club, 4th Fed 614,32nd Combine 1843 birds and 92nd National NPO against 8,221 birds from Gien in the Young Bird Derby Race.

Second bird was NL15-1810841 bred from REBEL the last son of Drum and Gerrire when he was coupled with SISTER CHARLENE bred by Rik Hermans and she is a full sister to his fabulous racer Charlene winner of *3rd Belgian Asduif Fond Europacup 2011 *5th National Argenton 11.001 birds *6th National Chateauroux 22.718 birds *27th National Argenton 4.782 birds *121st National Montlucon 17.865 birds *154th National La Chatre 15.780 birds…and so on

Third bird was GB15E32585 bred from BLUE 22 bred from a son of TOPO when he was coupled to our SYNDICATE BRITTANIA winner of the Vegas Race .com in 2001 winning a total of $73,000! Mother of GB15E32585 is Stella a good breeding daughter of Drum x Gerrie.

Fourth bird is NL15-1810859 bred from PRIMO a son of Hannibal x Lady Marijke paired to AMIGO 900 bred by Peter van der Merwe in a shared breeding arrangement from his super cock AMIGO paired to our top hen GENIE (Drum x Gerrie).

Fifth bird is NL15-3522618 bred from JUNIOR (Son Young Couple)  x ADELE (Hannibal x Genie) and winner of  *14th NPO Orleans 6.783 birds *25th NPO Creil 25.056 birds *72nd NPO Creil 11.056 birds *132nd NPO Orleans 8.687 birds *3rd Combine Creil  6.441 birds *4th Combine Pommeroeul 6.369 birds  and she is also Mother of *2nd St Quentin 13.618 birds

The third race of the day was the NPO Race from Creil a distance of around 330 km to Nieuwendijk and the form continues for this important race and keeps us ahead in the Midfond Championship of the Combine .

First bird winning 1st Club, 2nd Fed, 14th Combine and 65th NPO against 9,912 birds was NL14-1168708 bred from ‘Max’ a son of ‘Nieuwe Rossi’ and ‘Eenoog’ (New Dream Couple) of Leo Heremans when paired to ‘Stella’ a daughter of ‘Drum’ x ‘Gerrie’. This yearling also won last week 1st Club,1st Fed,4th Combine and 16th NPO against 6.704 birds and also won 66th NPO Roye 14,164 birds plus 23rd Combine Quivrain 4,818 birds this season having also scored twice last year as a youngster.

Second bird home was NL14-3432678 a yearling cock that won 1st from Roye against 216 club birds (47th Brabant 2000 vs 14.164 birds) and also won 1st the week before from Sens against 277 birds (26th Brabant 2000 vs 17.226 birds) and was also 4th club from Creil the week before that against 394 birds (26th Brabant 2000 vs 23.378 birds) and as a young bird won 1st Nanteuil against 255 birds (66th Brabant 2000 vs 17.015 birds)….His father is a direct Peter van der Merwe cock and is a son of Pikeur (son of Replay) a winner of 1st Ablis against 40.268 birds. He is also a the father of Miss Lucky 1st NPO Blois 15.172 birds and he is a full brother to Nathalie 1st NPO Chantilly 30.074 birds. The mother of NL14-3432678 is a daughter of our great racer ‘Blue Mike’ NL11-1867164 winner of 1st Ace Pigeon Union de Baronie Middle Distance 2013 winning 11 prizes in 12 races.
