*This is Bronco a son of one of Rik Hermans many super racing and breeding hens Cowgirl. Bronco bred our 2nd Combine winner yesterday from Quievrain against 8,482 entries. The nest mate of our winner was raced by the top Stourport partnership of Price Brothers and Son and scored very well last year as a youngster clocking in the first drop with the Fed winner. Another son of Bronco paired to a daughter of Athenas Best bred Phil Bates and Sons 1st North Section Welsh South East National 2014. Another daughter of Bronco scored well for us in the 2016 South Africa Million Dollar Race including winning 1st International in a training race against over 3000 birds.   

 

Saturday 14th April was our second program race of the season returning once again to Quievrain a distance of 175 km to Nieuwendijk.

We had an exceptionally good team race winning 21 prizes from 36 entries.

‘Athena’s Best’ bred from Rik Hermans famous ‘Athena’ one of the best breeding and racing hens of the modern era. She raced exceptionally well and bred even better. She is the mother of ‘Nike’ 1st National Bourges 2016 against 28.078 birds. ‘Athenas Best’ when paired to Propere Rik bred the mothers of Phil Bates and Sons 1st North Section Welsh SE National (When coupled to a son of Bronco) and the mother of Peter Embreghts ‘Athenas Rossi’ 1st Provincial Ace Young Bird 2017… She has now also bred our 2nd Combine Quivrain winner yesterday against 8,482 birds.
