Team Hermans Fox very pleased with our 13th prize in todays Algarve Golden Race Semi Final against almost 4000 birds with COMRADE YURI.

 

Today we had two races in the Algarve.

First race was the Algarve Great Derby Race 3 from 200 km  with 1777 entries and we are very happy indeed with 2nd place ( 0.7 seconds from 1st) and 19th place.

 

 

Our first bird winning 1st UK , 2nd Overall was ‘LONE STAR’  bred from ‘TEXAS STAR” bred in combination with my buddy Andy Skwiat of Indiana , U.S.A and winner of 3rd Ace Pigeon in the Ceuvas Classic One Loft Race 2021 winning more than $13,000 before returning to our breeding loft. Dam of “LONE STAR” is “MISS MEPPEN” bred by the German Champion Gunther Prange from his incredible ‘DEN 261’. This is the bloodline of the world famous ‘RINGLOSE’.

Miss Meppen dam of Lone Star 1st UK,2nd Overall Algarve Great Derby Race 3 200km . She was bred by Gunther Prange from his 2Den 261″ winner of 10 x 1st Combines.

 

Our second bird for 19th position was ‘BORIS THE SPIDER’ a son of  ‘SPIN 58’ a son of ‘BLUE SPIDER’ a cock that is producing many great performers for many fanciers very quickly.

Blue Spider has wasted no time in becoming one of our current principle breeders. He was bred by Luc and Hilde Sioen from ‘ SPIDEY’ one of the best breeders of Belgian National performers in the last two decades.

He was paired to ‘INDIAN WEDDING’ a daughter of ‘BRAVE’ one of our original top breeding sosns of the ‘NIEUWE ROSSI ‘ and ‘EENOOGSKE’ of Leo Heremans when he was coupled to ‘SWEET CAROLINE’ bred by Willem de Bruijn from the sire of ‘MURPHYS LAW’ and the dam of ‘SECRATARIAT’

The second race today was the Semi Final of the Algarve Golden Race from 300 km against 3941 birds.

Our first bird flying in the Hermans Fox Team  and bred in cobination with Rik Hermans was ‘COMRADE YURI’ a son of ‘YURI’ our top breeding son of Willem de Bruijn’s super racing and breeding cock ‘URANUS’ .  Dam of ‘COMRADE YURI’ was ‘NORMA JEAN’ once again bred by Willem de Bruijn from ‘SECTRATARIAT’ x ‘MURPHYS JANNEKE’ without doubt a true super breeding couple having bred all in one year:
