3rd June 2023 ~Sens Another North East Wind!…

Saturday 3rd June was another program mid fond race from Sens a distance of around 415 km to Nieuwendijk and again with another stiff north east wind the birds had a very tough race.

Our team performed well but we hope for the wind to change sometime soon.

First bird to win the club was NL21-1275107 a previous winner of  a previous winner of 2nd Biergies 408 birds,9th Combine 3308 birds, 9th Overall Rayon 3 & 4 8,684 birds and 3rd Union de Baronie 542 birds and 8th National NPO Issoudun against 2467 entries last season. He is a son of CASH a direct son of the famous NEW HARRY of Jan Hooymans with QUINN our top breeding hen from De Hoogh and Son blood lines of Mr Blue of Pieter Veenstra and ‘666’  of Henk Mellis.

Our second bird was NL20-2009604 our tp racing hen that scored last week from Issoudun and previously winning 56th National NPO against 12,374 birds, 1st Quivrain 282 birds,2nd Combine 2842 birds also winning from Chateaudun 1st against 169 birds and another  three times early in NPO or Provincial 34th NPO Sens 10,005 birds, 48th  Provincial Chateaudun 6409 birds, 57th Provincial Pont St Max 11,217 birds and 56th Melun NPO 12,374 birds.

This checker hen is bred from Bruce (Son New Harry) and Ivana (daughter Granger x Rhiannon).

Her brother and sister have also won *NL20-2009617 ~ 3rd Sens 294 b.(12th Combine 2305 b) (96th Nat.NPO 12,400 b) and *NL20-2009618 ~ 3rd Chateaudun 131 b. (12th Combine 1333 b) (77th Nat.NPO 6,277 b) and 4th Sens 227 b. (22nd Combine 2050 b) (84th Nat.NPO 10,005 b).

Our third bird was NL20-our really good hen scoring again for the sixth time in six races this season so far and 6 x 1sts in total. She is bred from CESAR a winner of 6 x 1st clubs for us when he was paired with a daughter of ZAPATA (Son Bandit x Moonglow) paired with our top breeding hen SISTER SPHINX. This is hen was bred by Rik Hermans and a top breeding hen for us and many others with her  offspring into the third and fourth generation.
