*This beautiful young hen when coupled with ‘Max’ a son of the Nieuwe Rossi x Eenoogje of Leo Heremans is the mother of our first bird for the last two weeks.   

For the second season we have decided to not race in the young bird program but send our youngsters to the Natour any age Autumn races as the birds get more experience against larger numbers however they can avoid the main Young Bird Sickness and subsequent losses issues.

The first Natour race was from Asse Zellik a distance of around 109 km to Nieuwendijk and although all birds came really well including many early prizes, the first three birds were old birds.

First bird was blue hen NL15-1810846 the winner of 1st club,4th Combine Quievrain against 3,627 birds and also scored from Criel twice this season  being bred MAX from one of our new younger breeders who has bred six first prize winners with season three different hens. He was bred by Leo Heremans from his renowned Nieuwe Rossi x Eenoogtje (New Dream Couple) that have without doubt been once of Europe’s principle breeding couples of the last few seasons. All of the direct children we have owned from this couple have bred multiple winners.                                                                                 Dam of NL15-1810846 is BONTJE 191 a young hen bred from our famous breeder HANNIBAL (Son Kannibaal) when he was coupled with a direct daughter of Rik Hermans super hen RANOMI.

Second bird was our really good checker hen NL12-1737183 that scored earlier in the season from St.Quentin and was a previous first prize winner as a young bird, yearling and two year old including 1st Combine 2.041 birds (24th NPO 8.621 birds) ,11th Combine Morlincourt 3.865 birds , 29th Combine Roye 3,398 birds and 42nd Combine Morlincourt 2.156 birds this season being bred from ‘Hurricane Run’ (Son Young Couple) x ‘Penny’ bred by P & J Roziers from ‘Little 500′ (Johan de Belser) father of ‘Perfect Light’ winner of *1st National Zone 13.049b and 2nd National Bourges 31.824b when he was paired to a daughter of ‘Shinji-San’ (Van Hove Utterhoeven)*1st Nat. Bourges 16.950b (1st Total Lib 40.902b) when he was paired to ‘Queen L’ *1st National La Souterraine 16.297b.

Third bird was NL14-3432644 a winner of 3rd Combine Asse Zellik in the first race of this season , 26th Combine Morlincourt 4.464 birds  and 1st club and fed against 1250 birds and 10th Combine against 4,703 birds from Quievrain last season in addition to 30th Combine Roye 3.398 birds and 35th Combine Quievrain as a youngster against 5,666 birds. She is bred from Belofte another son of Super 8 when coupled with a full sister to our ‘Mike’ 1st Midfond Ace Pigeon in the Union de Baronie in 2013 and is bred from Top Star (Young King x Chanel) x Sterre (Jonge Super Champ Orlando x Dtr King 1st Nat.Ace WHZB 1999) herself a winner of 17th NPO Salbris 8,079 birds and 18th NPO Montlucon 6,028 birds.

The second Natour Race of the season was flown from Oudeanarde on 20th August a distance of around 140 km from Nieuwendijk. Once again the birds came very well with many early prizes.

2nd Overall Brabant 2000 (Rayon 3 + Rayon 4)  362 members sent 8.027 birds.

First bird was once again  NL15-1810846 our daughter of Max x Bontje 191 that was also our first bird last week.

Second bird was NL16-1626894 bred from a pair of yearlings. The father is from ‘Junior’ the Last Son of the Young Couple with ‘Adele’ the top racing and breeding daughter of ‘Hannibal’ x ‘Genie’. The mother of our second bird was bred from ‘Parel’ a full brother to ‘Blue Baron’ when he was coupled with a daughter of Witpen Drum (Drum x Little Star’ and ‘Annabelle’ (Direct daughter Safier Couple Leo Heremans).

Third bird was NL16-3627932 bred from our very good breeder ‘Top Star’ (Young King x Chanel) paired with a daughter of ‘Blue Baron’ x ‘Britney’ (Chico x Astrid)

Fourth bird was NL16-1626901 bred from a direct Cor de Heijde from a son of Harry x Sister Marathon Lady (Etienne Meirlaen) coupled with a hen from Hoogh and Zoon with the Henk Melis 666 bloodlines crossed with Veenstra Mr Blue line.
