Yesterday was  Bierges the first Young Bird Race of 2021.

It was a good racing day with clear blue skies and a headwind however it turned out not so easy with many losses reported in the club and combine.

Our own result was very pleasing with 13 birds in less than a minute on the same3 meter per minute all scoring in the top 40 against 3613 birds and good returns however a freak problem cost us over a minute on the trap but we have to be happy with what’s in the clock.

Our second bird this week was NL2021-1275123 for 33rd Combine 3613 birds and is bred from a brother of Cesar a winner of 6 x 1st prizes for us when he was coupled with a daughter of Special One our top breeding son of Harry paired to Angelina a daughter of Warriors Boy of Embregts-Theunis.

Our third bird was NL2021-1275117 for 34th Combine Bierges 3613 birds bred by Mike from a son of Strain Maker coupled with Heart and Soul a daughter of Sun City and Margo’s Treasure. Dam is Miracle Lady an exceptional performance hen bought by Mike for his own breeding loft and bred from in Nieuwendijk before shipping to the USA.
