Had a fantastic message from my friends Adrian Leach and Brian Clennan reporting the winning of 1st Section L and 3rd Open National Flying Club from Sigogne yesterday from a distance of 561 miles and against 2403 birds.

Adrian visited our loft a few months before our 2016 Doncaster auction and fell in love with a most beautiful dark white flight hen a daughter of ‘Son Favoriet’ paired with’Little Beauty 727′ so mainly the golden long distance blood of Cor de Heijde. We had selected this young hen for our auction so she was not available at the time of his visit.

Brian and Adrian subsequently attended the auction and bought her with great confidence that she would enhance their newly formed distance breeding team. This hen is the mother of their 3rd NFC Sigogne when coupled to their own A.P.Overwater cocks.

This had to be one of the best performances of the entire race as they fly into Hebeden Bridge up on the Lancashire/Yorkshire moors a distance of 561 miles.

A super performance by two great guys and a super quality little dark hen.

Pedigree of GB16V48656 the dam of 1st Section L, 3rd Open NFC Sigogne 2019.

‘Son Favoriet’ bred by Cor de Hejde and a top breeder in our long distance loft. He is grand sire of Leach and Clennan’s 3rd Open NFC Sigogne 2019,

‘Little Beauty 727’ flown 400 miles as a yearling then retained for our long distance breeding loft because of her outstanding quality and super Cor de Heijde bloodlines. She is grand dam of Leach and Clennan’s 3rd Open NFC Sigogne 2019,
