Many congratulations must go to Ray Knight and Family on their recent top draw performance from Berwick in the N.R.C.C. young bird classic.
Their results in this race for the previous two years was quite outstanding and this year again Ray and Family prove once again they really have got what it takes to win at the highest level with multiple timing very very early.
Last weekend the Berwick race was held over for a day due to weather conditions and the race took place into a very difficult wind on Sunday. They had three together to take the first 3 Open prizes at just above 1200 y.p.m. and many other very early ones to back these up. In fact Ray and Family have 16 birds from their team of 56 doing over 1100 y.p.m. and all of these will finish in the top 125 open! Quite an outstanding result in a very testing race.
Ray and Family fly a team of mainly Lucien Geerts and Heremans Ceusters bloodlines, however we are very pleased that a few of our youngsters raced by Ray this year kept up with them!
