*Foxy Lady…grandmother of todays 3rd Hot Spot 3 in the Golden Algarve Race…

‘Witpen Mike’ grand sire of todays 3rd Golden Algarve One Loft Race Hot Spot 3 207 km against 4178 entries when paired to Foxy Lady…
Really great to hear from Darren Ede, one of the most enthusiastic pigeon fanciers I know on his latest success with his Foxy Lady pigeons.
‘Olivia’s Girl’ one of his Golden Algarve One Loft Race entries won 3rd prize in the Hot Spot 3 race from Monforte 207 km today against 4178 entries.
She is bred from a very late young cock bred in September last year from Witpen Mike with Foxy Lady. The mother of his winner is through John Crehans ‘Harry’ bloodlines.
The Foxy Lady crossed with Harry of Jan Hooymans bloodlines has really hit the Bulls Eye for Darren this year. He did exceptionally well in the last South Africa Million Dollar Race when he won 1st UK 274 birds , 5th International 1872 birds in the Hot Spot Race Ace Pigeon over the five race series. His winner ‘Lone Survivor’ also scored 45th in the final winning around $20,000 in total with all prizes, pools and noms. She was bred from a daughter of Foxy Lady x Propere Rik paired with a son of New Harry.
Darren had another eye catching performance in the National Flying Club Race from Nort Sur Erdre in July winning 1st,2nd,4th,15th Section B against over 700 birds and 3rd,6th,60th and so on Open against over 5,000 entries. With many more on the result.Darren’s first timer is a yearling blue cock that had scored from the CSCFC a few weeks previously and has consistently scored in the Fed all season. The sire of the yearling is a son of Foxy Lady when coupled to Granger her own grand sire. The mother is a direct daughter of Jan Hooymans Harry, so the bird is bred in the purple to say the least.
Darren is not only a dedicated individual that puts 110% effort into his team but is also a fearless buyer in the auction room where only the very best is good enough regardless of cost. To any serious pigeon fancier it is not only the buying of the best that brings success but outright focus and will to win and this he has demonstrated this season in abundance.
Very well done indeed…
