The Chester and District 2 Bird Specialist Club is one of the most prestigious and hardest to win specialist races in the north west.
Dave Beadle and Son from Coedpoeth in Wrexham reports that his game little hen now named ‘Little Vixen’ has won this years Young Bird Classic and what is remarkable is she is bred directly from his 2010 Chester 2B winner.
This years winner is a little checker hen bred from a son of our ‘Junior’ the last son of our ‘Young Couple’ when he was paired to ‘Rosetta’ a direct daughter of  ‘Casanova’  winner of 1st Dutch National Ace Middle Distance WHZB 2005. He is 100% Janssen blood – Geeloger,De Scherpe, Witooger, and Merkcx.Dam of ‘Rosetta’ is our ‘Britannia’ a winner of first in the Vegas Race .com 2001, winning a total prize and pool money of $76,000 in one race!!…she is a grand daughter of Mike Ganus’s famous cock ‘Topo’.
This pair of ‘Junior’ and ‘Rosetta’ were only coupled together for one season but they have subsequently had many winners reported from them. So we will have to repair them together again in 2013.
Dam of Dave’s Chester 2B winner of 2012 is his winner of the same race in 2010!! and she is bred from a son of  ‘Indiana’ a son of  ‘Rocket’ another 1st Dutch National Ace winner and super breeder. ‘Indiana’ was coupled with ‘Heidi’ bred by Andreas Drapa from his ‘Konigen’ pair that bred ‘Champ’ and ‘Carl’ amongst many other German National Ace and Olympiade winners.
Dam of Daves 2010 winner is a daughter of our ‘Kannibal 670’ (Zidane x Agent Starling) paired to ‘Elisa’ a daughter of ‘Drum’ x ‘Doran’ therefore a sister to our ‘Johannesburg’ and Crehan & O’Conners ‘Mystique’.

The last son of our ‘Young Couple’…maybe the best??

‘Rosetta’ a direct daughter of ‘Casanova’ the 1st Dutch National Ace Middle Distance winner when paired to our ‘Britannia’…What a hen!!

Daves young birds are really on form this last couple of weeks as the week before his Chester 2B triumph he clocked two from the Midlands National Flying Club Chale young bird race to win 2nd and 4th Section to one of the most westerly locations in a brisk west wind.
His first bird was from a son of ‘Granger’ (another son of Rocket’ and a full brother to ‘Indiana’) when he was paired to a sister of his 2010 Chester 2B winner.
His second bird was from a son of ‘Lisburn’ a full brother to Gibb & Byrnes £30,000 Europa Classic winner that is a double grandson of ‘Vechter’ our super Wal Zoontjen original breeder when crossed with a daughter of ‘President’ and ‘Bontje 797’. Dave coupled this cock with one of his original ‘Gold Ring’ family.
Both races were flown in really testing conditions…the real test of good birds. Very well done indeed.
