We recently visited the Van den Berg family in Ijsselmuiden in the Netherlands.

Father Gerard and two son Mark and Henri are all individual fanciers in their own right and house their own teams at their own homes.

Gerard and son Henri share a common breeding loft that contains the very best classic middle distance bloodlines and this produces racing teams that are ultra competitive not only against their fellow club mates but also against them both.

Mark specialises in the one day and overnight long distance races and as can be seen from the montage his results are at the very top of the European Pigeon Sport…
