*Peter F holding ‘Blue Baron’ and Peter C holding ‘GB13J04616’ (Chico x Astrid) after the race last Saturday. These two birds are coupled together at the moment and raced home to chipping eggs to win the first and second prizes in this weeks Natour race from Feluy. They are also very well suited together both body shape and bloodline so we will look forward to rearing the pair of youngsters now in the nest.

Last Saturday we had two program races. The second Natour race from Feluy and the young bird race from Morlincourt. Both races went very well with good returns and an increase in form.

Feluy Natour (Any Age) race…
Club 203 birds…1st,2nd,3rd,6th,10th,11th,12th,13th,16th,18th etc 14 prizes from 18 entries.
Altenna & Raamsdonksveer 1010 birds…5th,6th,10th,32nd and so on..
Union de Baronie 3901 birds…8th,9th,20th…

First bird was the super racer ‘Blue Baron’ reversing his second position from last week and winning his third first prize of the season.

Second bird was GB13J04616 a daughter of Chico (Hannibal x Genie) paired to Astrid a direct daughter of the magnificent Favorite Couple from Leo Hermans. The nest mate to this hen won 1st club,1st Fed and 4th Combine last week from Asse Zelik against 3493 birds as well as scoring well last year as a youngster. Chico and Astrid could be a potential good pair of the future.

Third prize was NL11-1867174 ‘Fantasy’ a previous winner of 11th Ace Pigeon in the Union de Baronie in 2011 including winning 68th National NPO Creil 1,056 birds and 87th National NPO Sens 10,508 birds. Her father is ‘Brabants Best’ down from the original lines of ‘Topo’,’Fieneke 086′,’Mr.Vita King’ etc and her mother is ‘Fabienne’ a full sister to ‘Super 8′ again from the old Ganus Van der Weijst lines of ‘Joep’ & Hercules’ crossed with the Ad Schaerleckens renowned ‘Wounded Knee’, ‘Golden mattens’ & ‘Sissi’ bloodlines.
