I had a call from Jack Walker yesterday about the MNFC Fougeres race once again…a bird he bred for his fiends Astbury and Horton finished provisionally top 3 section and top 10 open from over 8,300 birds after a very testing end to the race. Unfortunately after a hawk attach in the morning a group of 10 youngsters were still flying around in a state of panic when Astbury and Horton hen arrives from the race.  It was only when 10 became 11 in the sky did they realise a MNFC early bird had joined them. It was however still an excellent performance despite the obvious loss of time.

Jack bred the bird from daughter of our ‘Diamond Sissi’ a good racing hen that Jack had on loan from us for a while. He coupled her to the best of the best bloodlines of his great friends Mark and Dick Evans.

Very well done once again!
