Generations of tried and tested performance birds on all lines of the pedigree is the surest way to breed more winners!

Yesterday saw the latest program race from Morlincourt a distance of around 280 km to Nieuwendijk. Once again we are very pleased with the team performance with 14 prizes from 24 entries at Combine level.

We hope the condition continues until next week as it is the biggest old bird race of the year from  Chateauroux, that is a National Race open to all of the Netherlands.

First bird was NL14-3432663 a yearling hen scoring for the fourth time this season including 42nd National NPO Criel 12,648 birds two weeks ago. She is from ‘Zoon Pikeur’ the same Peter van der Merwe cock as our good yearling ‘678’ with a half sister to ‘Blue Mike’ being a daughter of ‘Sterre’ this time coupled with a grandson of Caliph, Chanel and Super 8 that had won 72nd NPO Sezanne for us against 12.518 birds.

Second bird was NL14-3432688 bred from a full brother to Peter vand der Merwe’s ‘United’ when crossed with the ‘Solo’ bloodline of our original Ganus Family Loft breeders.

Third bird was Checker hen NL12-1737183 a previous first prize winner as a young bird, yearling and two year old including 1st Combine 2.041 birds (24th NPO 8.621 birds) and 29th Combine Roye 3,398 birds this season being bred from ‘Hurricane Run’ (Son Young Couple) x ‘Penny’ bred by p & J Roziers from ‘Little 500′ (Johan de Belser) father of ‘Perfect Light’ winner of *1st National Zone 13.049b and 2nd National Bourges 31.824b when he was paired to a daughter of ‘Shinji-San’ (Van Hove Utterhoeven)*1st Nat. Bourges 16.950b (1st Total Lib 40.902b) when he was paired to ‘Queen L’ *1st National La Souterraine 16.297b.

Fourth bird was NL14-3430172 a hen that won 89th National NPO Sens last week against 8,621 birds and also scored as a youngster bred from our good breeding cock ‘Witpen Drum’ (Drum x Little Star dtr.Di Caprio) when he was coupled to ‘Sunday Girl’ bred by Jan Hooymans direct from his famous ‘Harry’ when he was coupled with Jan and Rik Hermans top breeding hen ‘Last One’ (Jaarling Dondersteen x Janssen Hen).

Fifth bird was NL14-1168708 bred from ‘Max’ a son of ‘Nieuwe Rossi’ and ‘Eenoog’ (New Dream Couple) of Leo Heremans when paired to ‘Stella’ a daughter of ‘Drum’ x ‘Gerrie’. This yearling won 23rd Combine Quivrain 4,818 birds this season and also scored twice last year as a youngster. This pair of Leo Heremans ‘Nieuwe Rossi’ x Eenoog’ (New Dream Couple) are proving to be a sensational winning line for many fanciers.
