This week saw the 7th and final race of the Vitesse program in Brabant 2000 Sector 3 (Union de Baronie) take place from Morlincourt a distance of around 280 km to Nieuwendijk.
Club 311 birds…3rd,5th,14th,18th,20th,21st,24th,25th and so on…
Altena & Raamsdonksveer …1.195 birds…6th,11th,30th,44th,46th,48th etc…
Union de Baronie (Brabant 2000 Sector 3) ..3.865 birds…11th,18th,54th,77th,79th,83rd,89th,90th with a total of 25 prizes from 37 entries (67%) and 8 prizes in the top 100.
We think we have scored enough points to win the Vitesse Championship as most of our nominated birds were early however it will be confirmed tomorrow.
Our first bird was our really good Checker hen NL12-1737183 that scored earlier in the season from St.Quentin and was a previous first prize winner as a young bird, yearling and two year old including 1st Combine 2.041 birds (24th NPO 8.621 birds) , 29th Combine Roye 3,398 birds and 42nd Combine Morlincourt 2.156 birds this season being bred from ‘Hurricane Run’ (Son Young Couple) x ‘Penny’ bred by P & J Roziers from ‘Little 500′ (Johan de Belser) father of ‘Perfect Light’ winner of *1st National Zone 13.049b and 2nd National Bourges 31.824b when he was paired to a daughter of ‘Shinji-San’ (Van Hove Utterhoeven)*1st Nat. Bourges 16.950b (1st Total Lib 40.902b) when he was paired to ‘Queen L’ *1st National La Souterraine 16.297b.
Second bird was a yearling hen NL15-1810801 scoring for the first time and bred from on the fathers side from our original bloodline like ‘Solo’ crossed with Martin Van Zon and Peter Van der Merwe and the mother is a full sister to Blue Baron.
Third bird was GB14J04616 a two year old that is blossoming into a new star that won 11th Combine Morlincourt against 4.494 birds a few weeks ago and scored 5th club last week over 400 birds and was also 12th club Qievrain a few weeks ago against almost 400 birds and the week before that also won 4th Combine Asse Zelik against 1,506 birds..he is a son of Chico (Hannibal x Genie) paired to Astrid a direct daughter of the magnificent Favorite Couple from Leo Hermans. This cock also scored 9th Combine as a yearling against 3901 birds from Feluy and the nest mate to him won 1st club,1st Fed and 4th Combine as a yearling from Asse Zelik against 3493 birds as well as scoring well as a youngster.
