Last Sunday saw the National Flying Clubs Cholet race take place.

We offer many congratulations to Mr and Mrs Eddie Froggatt of Abbotts Bromley, two of the nicest people and hardest workers for the NFC. Their two year old hen arrived in the rain to win 1st Section I,2nd Open NFC against almost 7,000 birds.

The winner was a granddaughter of a remarkable breeding hen they own  GB03C53741 a daughter of our ‘Young Couple’ that they obtained from us as a youngster when they visited on their way to a family holiday at Portmerion …12 YEARS AGO!!                                                                                                                                                                                               This hen bred their ‘Gale Force’ cock that topped Section I in the NFC Alencon arriving in a gale force wind as the name suggests…she also bred a daughter that won 2nd Section I from NFC Fourges beaten on a decimal but winning 1st Yearling Championship. Another son of their good Young Couple hen bred 1st Coalville and District Breeder buyer race from Portland flown by Mr and Mrs J Dodd.

On the Fathers side of their winner is a son of our Hannibal cock and the results of his progeny has been well documented already.

Many congratulations once again on this top performance…
