This is Star 300 a really beautiful hen bred from Galileo (The cock of our Young Couple) when he was coupled with Syndicate Emerald (1st U.K. 6th Open in the South Africa Million Dollar Race). Star 300 with Johannesburg bred the mother of Harrison,Blachetta & Harrison’s 7th Eastbourne Classic against over 23,000 birds and a cock the same way bred won for us 1st Sens 447 birds, 10th National NPO 17,292 birds ~ 1st Orleans 175 birds, 51st National NPO 9,099 birds ~ 2nd Nijvel 559 birds, 18th Combine 7213 birds  and much more.                                                                                            Star 300 has bred exceptionally well with many cocks including breeding the father of Phil bates and Sons 1st Welsh S.E.National Lillers two weeks ago when she was coupled with ‘Waalre’…

*I had a welcome letter from Mrs Whitehead of Durham to inform me of the super performance of a late bred hen GB13V02650 that she bred and that was raced as a yearling by Harrison,Blachetta & Renwick in the North of England Homing Union Eastbourne Classic on the 12th May.

The total entry was made up of all of the N.E.H.U. ~ Up North Combine,West Durham Amal ,Durham Combine etc… and she was 2nd Section 7th Open Up North Combine 16,708 birds and 7th Open N.E.H.U. 23,012 birds flying 302 miles. This was an outstanding performance considering her age and the one day holdover. I am certain she will go on to win many other early prizes as she matures.

She was bred from GB2007L20308 ‘Wazir’ a son of our basic breeding couple ‘Drum’ and ‘Gerrie’. This cock is the nest brother to ‘Southfield Bold’ the sire of Mark Gilberts 1st N.F.C. Saintes winner from over 4000 birds.

Dam of the late bred hen is GB2010L40635 ‘Dolly Blue’ a daughter of ‘Johannesburg’ (Drum x Doran) and Star 300 (Galileo x Syndicate Emerald).

Many congratulations to all involved.
