Today was the final race of the Pattaya International Pigeon Race 2022 when 4033 birds from an original entry of 8,747 birds were released from Sirindhorn District Ubon Ratchathani Province a distance of 530km.
It was a good working race , hard but fair and it is clear that the best birds on the day scored early in the result.
Very well done to the winners of the UK squad especially Slim Timmis and Mo Hanif at 23rd International and 1st UK.
Our own performance could have been better but we have no excuses with our first bird at 11th UK, 523rd International. Our blue checker hen GB21V38412 was scoring for the first time and she was bred from a promising young cock Samba the last son of Johannesburg our well known top breeding son of Drum paired to Hindi a daughter of Golan x Foxy Lady.

It was also very pleasing to receive a call this morning from Miguel of Team Amanda Miguel letting us know their winner of 4th UK,110th International was bred from GB19A49668 a son of Witpen Mike x Foxy Lady. They bought GB19A49668 in our Blackpool Auction in January 2020 as a hen but ended up being a cock that they coupled to a hen from Ian Stafford to breed their first bird.

Sire of Team Amanda Miguel’s 4th UK,110th International Final race Pattaya 2022…
This year was our first time entering this race and we look forward very much to Pattaya 2023. It is our Foxy Lady bloodline that we will base next years team on crossed with various middle or long distance lines to hopefully have a contender. Foxy Lady with her impressive racing record continues to add to her formidable breeding record at National, Combine and some of the biggest One Loft Races in the World. She is proving to be one of the best Racers and breeders ever!
While I am posting about Foxy Lady we must applaud the performance of Partner Mike Ganus who is not only responsible for 50% of Foxy Lady’s winning DNA but once again for yet another world class result with 3rd and 6th Open International positions in the final . Many congratulations indeed.
