This beautiful pied hen was a gift from our good friend and one of the Netherlands top fanciers Peter Embreghts Theunis. She is a daughter of his ‘Super Rossi’ a grandson of ‘The New Dream Couple’ Leo Heremans and winner of 3rd Creil 27,056b, 4th Peronne 19,915b,11th St.Quentin 28,981b and so on…

Yesterday was the second program race of the season and we experienced a very tricky contest with big gaps between arrivals and erratic returns on the day, with yearlings having their first races at the front and our fancied birds at the rear!. The pleasing thing is we managed to get 100% returns with the last two arriving this morning.

First bird  was NL16-3627890 bred from ‘De Cor’ a direct Cor de Heijde birds being bred from a 2010 cock that was bred during a co-operative breeding agreement between Cor and Etiene Meirlaen (Son Harry Hooymans x Sister Marathon Lady). He was coupled with a daughter of 1st National Bordeaux  and 1st National NPO Cahors paired together. Dam of our first bird was an exchange bird with the top Brabant fanciers De Hoogh and Son from their fantastic multiple performance birds.

Our second bird was NL16-3627899 bred from ‘Special One’ a direct son of Harry of Hooymans when coupled to ‘Paris’ bred by Peter Embreghts-Theunis from his  top racer ‘Super Rossi’ paired to ‘Fast Jewel’ his 1st Ace Pigeon winner Vitesse that has the famous ‘Rocket’ bloodline on both sides of her pedigree.

Our third bird was NL16-3627930 bred from our very good breeding cock ‘Belofte’ the full brother of ‘Blue Baron’ when he was coupled to ‘Angeline’ another top quality Embreghts Theunis hen out of his top couple ‘Warrior Boy’ and ‘Blue Diamond’.
