Price Brothers and Son~ 1st Section in back to back Nationals with the same yearling hen!!

I spoke with Steve Price yesterday regarding his latest super result from the Midland National’s race from Ancenis last Saturday.

His fantastic blue hen  GB2014A46975 won 1st Section 93 members sent 745 birds and 2nd Open 650 members sent 5,612 birds. This is the same hen that won in the last MNFC race from carentan (2) 1st Section 115 members sent 1,125 birds, 3rd Open 840 members sent 8,359 birds.

The provisional winner is bred from a son of Granger (son of Rocket) x Mary Kate (Dtr. Casanova x daughter Topo) when he was paired to a daughter of our fantastic young breeding couple Bandit (Outlaw x Rowen) x Moonglow (Drum x Joy).

Rocket, Casanova and Topo were all Dutch National Ace winners so also multiple performers.

This pair Bandit and Moonglow have bred us good pigeons every year. In 2011 they bred GB11-129 EMERALD ACE winner of 1st Ace Pigeon Emerald Classic One Loft Race 2011 against 658 entries with a 17 minute lead~ In 2012 they bred GB12-402 AMAZING winner of 1st Grimbergen 587 birds (32nd Combine 6,233 birds), 1st Creil 477 birds (16th Nat. NPO 25.437 birds), 2nd Nijvel 483 birds (74th Combine 5,989 birds), 3rd Peronne 227 birds (68th Combine 3,449 birds), 4th Grimbergen 344 birds (83rd Combine 4,609 birds), 5th Creil 268 birds (50th Combine 2,775 birds),7th Nijvel 400 birds (28th Combine 4.188 birds)~ In 2013 they bred GB13-636 ‘King Crimson’ winner of 1st U.K.304 birds, 3rd International 4,065 birds Car Race SAMDPR, 2nd U.K.319 birds,8th International 4,028 birds Training Race SAMDPR and in 2014 they bred the dam of the 1st Section 3rd Open MNFC Fougeres 8,339 birds and now 1st Section 2nd Open MNFC 5,612 birds.

2 x 1st Section wins with the same pigeon in back to back races…top class flying by top class fanciers.
