Yesterday was our third program race of the season. The race took place from Quievrain a distance of 175 km to Nieuwendijk. For the second week the birds were held until late in the afternoon before release and once again it resulted in a tricky race. We were very fortunate to have our team home with 56% prize success at Combine level with a good number of very early results.

First bird home was a yearling hen NL16-3627868 scoring for the first time. She is bred from ‘Amulet’ and ‘Sister Sphinx’ a very promising young breeding couple that have produced some top performers for ourselves and others in their short career so far…
Second bird was NL16-3627899 another yearling that scored 59th Combine last week against 3,305 birds…. bred from ‘Special One’ a direct son of Harry of Hooymans when coupled to ‘Paris’ bred by Peter Embreghts-Theunis from his top racer ‘Super Rossi’ paired to ‘Fast Jewel’ his 1st Ace Pigeon winner Vitesse that has the famous ‘Rocket’ bloodline on both sides of her pedigree.
Third bird was NL16-3627932 a winner for us last season as a young bird from Quievrain 1st Altena & Raamsdonksveer 1,103 birds,9th Combine 2,976 birds. He is bred from our very good breeder ‘Top Star’ (Young King x Chanel) paired with a daughter of ‘Blue Baron’ x ‘Britney’ (Chico x Astrid).
Fourth bird was NL16-3627930 that also scored for us last week from Peronne bred from our very good breeding cock ‘Belofte’ the full brother of ‘Blue Baron’ when he was coupled to ‘Angeline’ another top quality Embreghts Theunis hen out of his top couple ‘Warrior Boy’ and ‘Blue Diamond’.
Fifth bird was NL15-1810813 a two year old hen that scored as a youngster and as a yearling for us, being bred from ‘Amulet’ and ‘Sister Sphinx’ therefore a full sister to our first bird this week.
