*Three direct children of Leo Heremans ‘Nieuwe Rossi’ and ‘Eenoogtje’ probably better known as ‘The New Dream Couple’. In common with many other fanciers we have been very lucky with offspring of this couple crossed with our original bloodlines.
Today was the next race from Quievrain a distance of around 175 km to Nieuwendijk. The birds were liberated in a stiff North East headwind that made for a very testing race. We were very happy with 20 prizes from 37 entries at Combine level with a number of early results.
Last years young bird season was very interrupted due to the recent young bird losses phenomenon across the entire pigeon sport, which resulted in us stopping the team during the program to preserve our candidates for the future. This decision has proven to be the right one as in the last few weeks a number of yearlings are showing promise.
