*This is ‘Propere Rik’ the sire of our 34th Combine against 5,666 birds in yesterday’s Quievrain race.

Yesterday saw the Quievrain young bird race eventually take place after a series of cancelled flights due to weather conditions. The first four races were either cancelled altogether or liberated at shorter distances as training races. So the season has been severely disrupted but we hope now for some consistent racing.

 

Our own team result at 13 prizes from 36 entries was nothing to ‘write home about’ but it was very pleasing to have two early ones.

Our first bird for 34th Combine is GB14J04455 a daughter of Propere Rik the son of Jan and Rik Hermans super breeding cock Propere and the dam of our first bird is Naomi a daughter of our good ‘Hannibal’ when he was paired to Doran (Emerveens Hope x Golden Lady).

Our second bird for 35th Combine is NL14-3432644 bred from Belofte a son of Super 8 when coupled with a full sister to our 1st Midfond Ace Pigeon in the Union de Baronie in 2013 and is bred from Top Star (Young King x Chanel) x Sterre (Jonge Super Champ Orlando x Dtr King 1st Nat.Ace WHZB 1999) herself a winner of 17th NPO Salbris 8,079 birds and 18th NPO Montlucon 6,028 birds.
