An absolute top long distance racing cock and we are extremely pleased to have had a small hand in his pedigree  via Millys Loft, Crewe, having bred his dams double grandmother through the Young Couple and Lady Luck bloodline.

Red Harry Pedigree

Mr Mellor of Millys Loft bought GB14V39796 as Lot 46 in our Blackpool auction in January 2014 and he subsequently renamed her ‘Lucky Lady’ . Sire of Lot 46 was WARLORD a direct son of THE YOUNG COUPLE and the dam was LADY LUCK bred by Jan Hermans and Dirk Leekens from LUCKY LUKE  and MAYA a full sister to VAYA CON DIOS one of the best long distance racing hens of her generation.

Lucky Lady Pedigree. Her double granddaughter bred the phenomenal ‘Red Harry for Team Hooymans WVL.

‘Warlord’ one of the best breeding sons of our Young Couple…

‘Lady Luck’ a daughter of Lucky Luke and a top breeding hen.  When we bought her from Dirk Leekens he retained one daughter that bred his super racing hen CHALON winner of:
*1st National  Argenton 8,006 b ’17
*1st Provincial Chalon 1,730 b.                                                                                                                                            *2nd Semi National Chalon 6,746 b
*2nd Prov.Chateauroux 2749b                                                                                                                                              *2nd Provincial Asduif KBDB ’16

‘Lucky Lady’ bred ‘Secret Weapon’ for Millys Loft when paired to a Raymond Moleveld cock  and they bred ‘Red Dundee’ a really great racing hen in the Million Dollar Race winning 48th in the Final and more than$17,000 US.

‘Lucky Lady’ when paired to ‘The Bomber’ bred Millys Loft’s ‘Lucky Girl’ winner of 2nd in the tough Who Dares Wins final race and another $11,000US.

‘Secret Weapon’ paired to ‘Lucky Girl’ bred ‘Million Dollar Lady also raced in the Million Dollar race by Millys Loft to win 1st UK an 10th Open in the Final and she was purchased by Jan Hooymans after the race and went on to breed ‘Red Harry’ when she was paired to a son of his outstanding Beauty Harry when he was paired to ‘Birdy’ considered by many as the greatest Million Dollar racer ever.
When we consider the Million Dollar Race Finals were very tough events usually with headwinds from over 350 miles as youngsters in scorching heat , it is possible to see where ‘Red Harry’ gets his toughness and stamina from.
Very many congratulations to all involved and I am sure we will hear much more of ‘Red Harry’ the super cock.
