Yesterday saw the National NPO race from Roye. The race point was originally Creil however due to weather conditions the birds were first held over and then returned to Roye a shorter distance. The Natour team were rested as they have started a heavy moult so it was the young bird team that had a very difficult race after two nights in the basket.

Our first bird was NL14-3432682 the super blue hen that also won 1st club last week plus 3rd Fed 1065 birds, 10th Combine 3116 birds and 94th Nat.NPO against 14,258 birds. This week she wins 1st Club,1st Fed 754,11th Combine 2303 birds and 35th National NPO against 10,336 birds.
She is the same way bred as our great racer ‘Mike’ NL11-1867164 winner of 1st Ace Pigeon Union de Baronie Middle Distance 2013 winning 11 prizes in 12 races. The father is ‘Top Star’ a great breeding son of ‘Young King (Young Couple) x ‘Chanel. The mother is ‘Sterre’ a daughter of ‘Jonge Super Champ’ (Son of Super Champ Orlando Verbree x Dtr.Godfather). This cock ‘Jonge Super Champ’ was a real good one and breeder of 1st Combine Houdeng 10,315 birds and 1st Combine Houdeng 12,491 birds.
