I am no expert in eye sign, in fact I don’t believe in it to any great degree, however there is something about this eye that I like. The richness of colour in the sunlight this morning is quite fantastic. The eye is of the son of Murphy’s Law and Phoebe bred by Willem de Bruijn that we bought last Friday in the Golden Duif auction. I can be a fussy so and so but the quality of the de Bruijn birds in recent years leaves me agog (If there is such a word).

By the way, the young cock has now been christened ‘The Lawman’ with a nod towards Dennis Law one of the greatest ever.
