*I had a very nice call today from Micahel Mellor of the M & W Mellor partnership from Crewe , Cheshire informing us that his very consistent red hen ‘Red Dundee’ flown in the Millys Loft Team in this years South Africa Million Dollar Race won 1st UK and 2nd International in the 5th Hot Spot Car Race from a distance of 340km against over 2000 birds, just missing the car by 1 second!!
‘Red Dundee’ has won over $3000 in single noms and a total of over $8000 in two bird and three bird noms in the series so far.
She is bred from a long distance red cock of there own breeding and a young grizzle hen bred in 2014 that they purchased in our Blackpool auction in January 2015. This grizzle hen is a daughter of our fantastic breeding cock ‘Warlord’ a direct son of our famous ‘Young Couple’ when he was paired to ‘Lady Luck’ a direct daughter of ‘Lucky Luke’ bred by Dirk Leekens-Jan Hermans.
